Mindful Living
Being human means means we get stuck in patterns of emotions, thoughts and behaviors that don’t work for us. While we can sometimes find new solutions on our own, other times we need help from someone else to help us make the change. This is when therapy can be helpful.
My approach is to help people better align their choices with the lives they want, whether that involves overcoming anxiety, depression, substances, or impulsivity. Through increased mindfulness and coping, we can create the lives we seek.
I earned my Doctorate in Psychology from the University of Denver in 1998. Since then I have worked with children, adolescents, adults and couples with a variety of problems. The majority of that work has been in anxiety, depression, trauma, addictions, and sport psychology. I was an Adjunct Professor at the University of Denver for 12 years, teaching on these subjects.
